With cutting-edge CNC equipment that can machine seals up to 96” (2440 mm) in outer diameter, we offer industry-leading materials and a wide selection of sealing profiles worldwide. Our split sealing technology makes installation a breeze without disassembling complex equipment.
Fusion Program
Chesterton’s CNC machines have the capability to produce seals in outside diameters up to 96" inches (2,440 mm). Chesterton also has the ability to fuse weld larger diameter seals with some seals reaching 138 inches (3500 mm) in outer diameter that we have designed and manufactured for our customers in the past . Chesterton can produce seals in virtually unlimited diameters with our fusion program.

Materials
Chesterton’s Large Diameter Sealing Program utilizes industry leading materials such as, Thermoset Polyurethanes, Fluoroplastics, Hard plastics and Elastomers.
- AWC 800
Chesterton’s proprietary thermoset polyurethane has the best abrasion resistance in the industry and is used in high pressure equipment up to 185°F. Learn more - AWC 860
High temperature polyurethane is used in heavy duty high temperature applications up to 250°F. Learn more - AWC 825
Lower durometer polyurethane offers the best primary sealing capability when installed in our popular 11K Split Seal assembly. Learn more - PTFE and PTFE/TFM
Blends sustain temperatures from as low as -265°F to 500°F. - Hard plastics
PEEK is used in extreme service conditions with high pressures and temperatures up to 500°F.
